Collection pages often contain several players, changing recommendations, or content loaded only after scrolling. A direct item page gives the downloader one clear source to inspect and reduces the chance of matching a preview, advertisement, or unrelated media element. Keep the original page available while you check the result so you can compare the title, duration, and visible content before saving anything.

1. Open the source item: Visit Panopto, open the individual item you want to check, and confirm that its media loads normally in your browser.
2. Copy the complete URL: Copy the address from the browser bar or the platform's share action. Avoid shortened or incomplete text copied from a caption.
3. Paste and process: Paste the link into the Panopto downloader, start the request, and wait for the available source options to appear.

Troubleshooting the Panopto Downloader
